Kristina supposedly pulled in the driveway and left, but maybe she actually stuck around instead.
In the December 6 episode, Kristina went into a fugue state after Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) verdict was revealed.
Fans saw Kristina in a disturbing trance, so it was like she was off in her own little world.
Has Kristina gone into that fugue state before? Did it happen the night Agent Cates was taken down permanently?
It’s possible Kristina killed John that night and just doesn’t remember it.
As for the shooting that fans saw Sonny commit, perhaps GH could tweak things a bit and make it something that happened in Kristina’s mind.
Kristina might’ve convinced herself that Sonny was doing the deed in that moment.
Although Kristina doesn’t seem to remember witnessing anything now, maybe she eventually just blocked out any painful memories – even false ones she’d dreamed up.
Regardless, seeing Kristina so zoned out was unsettling and felt like a clue about something deeper.
It’s possible the show’s laying the groundwork for Kristina to go after Ava in a fugue state, but it’d be easy for them to tie all this back to Cates’ grisly outcome, too.
Kristina recently expressed concern to Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) about remembering things wrong when it came to what happened in the hotel room with Ava.
The show could lean into that idea and make it so Kristina is remembering the night of Cates’ murder wrong as well.
