General Hospital: Ric’s Awful Prognosis, Lucky Panics and GH Anniversary Fun.
General Hospital preview video reveals the week of March 31-April 4 will have its fair share of bombshells. GH just dropped its weekly preview video, and it looks like the next five days will be filled with some major drama, with a sprinkle of celebration.
The preview video starts off on a fun note by highlighting the show’s anniversary milestone, which takes place on Tuesday, April 1.
General Hospital is celebrating 62 years of being on the air, and they’ll do so by honoring legend Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) with her own wing at the hospital.
The episode will focus on the impact the doctor has made in the land of Port Charles over the years, so fans can expect some nice flashbacks and nostalgia as the daytime drama pays tribute to a pivotal character on the show.
The weekly promo video opens up with a photo of the late Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) as Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) looks on at the portrait.
The hospital’s co-Chief of staff, Terry Randolf (Cassandra James) can be heard on a voiceover stating, “It’s General Hospital’s anniversary”.
Meanwhile, a clip is then shown of Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) walking through the hospital, with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) as the patient advocate declares, “… and I have a feeling it’s just getting started.”
Scenes quickly flash through the concerned faces of Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), as the last face shown is a smiling Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
This is when the promo video turns from “celebration” mode to dark and eery.
Kristina Corintos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is shown, looking on in horror, as paramedics are hooking Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) up to a gurney and he has a neck brace on.
Kristina can be heard on the voiceover stating, “I don’t understand – it was supposed to be Ava (Jerome – Maura West)”.
The scene quickly shifts to Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) sprinting to the scene of the accident in a panic, screaming, Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) name as a first responder tries to keep him away.
The last scene of the General Hospital preview shows a worried Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) at the hospital as Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) approaches her.
She asks, “How’s my dad?” While Lucas responds with, “Why don’t we go sit down,” as Molly braces for bad news.
General Hospital spoilers suggest the news Lucas gives Molly about her dad will not be good.
Even if Ric does survive the crash, it sounds like he has a long road to recovery ahead with possible life-long spinal cord issues that may create mobility problems for him moving forward.
Still, the biggest question is, will Kristina come forward and take accountability for what she’s done?
Will Lucky throw her under the bus? Only time will tell.
