General Hospital Spoilers: Alexa Havins’ First Airdate Revealed – See When Lulu Spencer Recast Awakens
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans have been anxiously awaiting Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) wake-up call – and the big day is getting closer. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is clearly at her breaking point when it comes to waiting for her comatose daughter to finally open her eyes.
It seems like Laura’s fierce speech by Lulu’s bedside might’ve paid off on some level. Lulu has been in a coma for four long years, but the end is in sight!
According to TV Guide, Alexa Havins’ first airdate as Lulu will be Monday, November 18. That means the show won’t have to keep focusing on Lulu’s hands or using clever angles to block her face anymore.
Lulu will be back on-screen in the flesh in the November 18 episode, so that’s something to look forward to. It’ll be great to see Havins’ spin on Lulu once she comes out of her coma at last.
Of course, some GH fans might be disappointed that Emme Rylan (ex-Lulu Spencer) wasn’t asked back, but the show clearly wanted to go in a new direction. Sometimes that’s just how things go on soaps, but we should all give Havins a warm welcome and a chance to shine.
Havins is best known for playing Babe Carey on All My Children from 2003-2007, but now she’s stepping into Lulu’s shoes. As for what fans can expect, Havins had good things to say in her brief TV Guide interview.
“The writers have written some fun things,” Havins insisted. “She’s waking up from a four-year coma, so we’ve got a lot of twists and turns and we hit the ground running.”
It sounds like Lulu’s coma awakening will be the perfect addition to all the November sweeps drama. We’ll be sure to pass along updates on any other Lulu-related news as he comes in.
