General Hospital spoilers tease Ava learning what really happened to Ric and deciding to use it to her advantage.
General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina as the Culprit
Ava Jerome (Maura West) still can’t imagine how Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was in such a terrible accident, but when she learns there was something wrong with his brakes, she starts to put it all together and realizes that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) did this.
Ava knew that Ric was parked in her spot, so it would make sense that Kristina believed she was messing with Ava’s brakes and not Ric’s.
Knowing that Kristina did such a horrible thing terrifies Ava at first — until she realizes she can use her newfound knowledge to her advantage.
Ava’s Big Blackmail Plan
We all know Ava has been hurting for cash and now know that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is responsible for all of that hurt.
When Ava tried to get $2 million from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he was willing to party with the money in exchange for more custody rights with Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Ava wouldn’t go for that, leading to a shouting match and Sonny collapsing.
Ava also knows that Sonny would do anything to protect Kristina, as would Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). She could use the knowledge that Kristina tried to commit attempted murder to get money out of Sonny, as well as full custody of Avery. Will Sonny go for it?
Ava could also use this tidbit to get Alexis to release some of that Cassadine cash that Valentin had taken from her. Ava feels she is entitled to that money anyway because she won it fair and square in a divorce settlement.
While Sonny and Alexis could just claim Kristina is insane and get her the help she needs, they will likely try to coddle and protect her as always — which would mean giving in to Ava’s demands.
Would Kristina realize that it is time to confess her sins — sins that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) knows about? Lucky could be the one holding all the cards here and Sonny and Alexis don’t even know it.
