The Paradox in ‘Sister Wives’: Unemployed Robyn Brown Becomes the Richest—Why?
How did jobless Robyn Brown come out on top after years of having everyone else do her dirty work? She never enlisted her sister wives to help raise her children but rather always had nannies. So, how did she reign supreme? Keep reading for more details.
Jobless Robyn Brown Comes Out On Top
Since Robyn Brown came into the Sister Wives family, she has not done much regarding a job. A few years into her marriage to Kody Brown, she decided to start an online jewelry company,
My Sisterwife’s Closet. She created and cultivated a variety of pieces along with her sister wife, Meri Brown. Unfortunately for Robyn, Meri ended up wanting to try other ventures so she opted to leave. That hurt Robyn so she seemed to give up some on the family business or not work as hard as she had before. Many fans felt that the site became all but defunct by the time the Browns moved to Arizona.
Meanwhile, Janelle Brown was a workhorse, being seen up at dawn and coming home at sunset.
Christine Brown Woolley raised the children before she went to real estate school and got involved in MLMs. Finally, Meri was either in school or working until she, like Christine, found MLMs. She then opened her B&B and has been very successful with that. Followers have continued to search for My Sisterwife’s Closet and it appears to have had a resurgence but aside from reality TV, Robyn never held a “real” job.
Now, Sister Wives fans are questioning if Robyn Brown should have any say as to what happens to Coyote Pass. She put none of her own money into the property so should Robyn have any rights? A Reddit thread was started with the OP writing this:
- Someone please explain to me why Robyn has any rights to Coyote Pass. She’s contributed NOTHING financially yet her name is on the majority of the lots? That is some huge bullsh!t.
So, did any viewers have a legitimate answer?
TV Is Her Job
Of course, some Sister Wives fans felt that Robyn Brown did contribute financially as she gets a paycheck from doing the show. Therefore, she does have rights to the property:
- I don’t know what makes anyone think Robyn didn’t contribute financially to CP. She gets a paycheck from the show, too.
- Robyn never held a salaried/hourly job, but she’s been making a paycheck from the show since she’s been on it, same as the rest of them.
- they used show money to buy the land and she’s on the show so…
Essentially, as much as some may dislike Robyn, her money from the show is earned so fair is fair.
