Proof TLC Has Protected Kody & Robyn Brown All Along
There was a time when it appeared Kody Brown was getting a better edit based on the people he knew. He was close to one of the producers and they even lived near one another. That made viewers question if he was being favored. More so, if this was a good edit, what was the real edit like as he still did not appear that great? Kody and his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown did get off fairly easy at the last few tell-alls. They were not held accountable for their actions or poor behavior which infuriated fans.
Now, it has been revealed that different parts of the world see various versions of Sister Wives. Edits are cut differently in Australia than they are in America and the United Kingdom. So, viewers have missed out on integral parts of the storyline which is not always fair. Apparently, Kody pulled some shady business regarding the family money and it was caught on film. However, only those in Australia saw this. So, does that mean these edits are a way for Kody and Robyn to appear much better than they are?
After this was revealed on a Facebook page, it made its way over to a Reddit thread where fans wondered if TLC was using these edits to help the duo. Kody has always wanted to protect Robyn and felt the OG3 were not kind enough to her. To make up for that, were edits used to make up for her “poor treatment”? This was a major storyline that was omitted from the American version and fans agreed that Kody covered for Robyn the best he could.

No, Robyn Brown did not look like a saint in Season 19. She contradicted herself, she had her fake tears, and her conversations with her children were extremely contrived. However, Sister Wives fans did feel that TLC ensured that Robyn and Kody Brown got a great edit in the U.S.:

Someone noted they saw the extended scene in America but many have cited that was never shown. Sometimes TLC will air extended versions under the guise of them being “More To Love” so it could have been in one of those. Yet, the fact that Kody closed the family business account without telling anyone and it was not aired in the regular episode is sketchy. That makes fans wonder what else has been hidden or edited out.
